It has been a couple months since the last building update. Work on the new building is progressing along quite well. As of July 31 the metal roofing is nearly complete and the hope is to have the structure at lock up before the weather deteriorates.
Work is moving forward on a number of fronts including prepping for the soffit installation, interior wall rough in, lighting design, final touch ups to the door and window openings in preparation for installation, placing of the building wrap prior to application of siding on the gable ends and scheduling a general cleaning of the logs just to name a few.
Much of the work is contingent on availability of materials and of course volunteer manpower. 
It would seem there is boom in construction and renovations in the local area which has lead to a shortage of some building materials and extended wait times for delivery.
