To : All Club Members and Guests
We would like to put a work party(s) together to assist around the facility, and I’m asking
for your help in this endeavor. The date will be August 16 th from 0900 – 4:00. But if you
want to come up anytime before this date and work on these jobs for an hour here or an
hour there, please feel free to do so.
We have purchased a new bridge that will be spanning the fishpond because the
existing one is no longer usable. So, the request is that we need some nimble ninjas to
dismantle the old wood bridge. We need to remove the railings and deck boards, then
we can bring in a crane to remove the span section and lift in the new aluminum bridge.
Please bring your favorite construction tools to assist in this project IE: hammers, pry
bars, saws (battery powered) or any other tool you may want to use.
We can pile the wood on the west side of the pond, and we will get it hauled away.
There is also a need to dig down to a water shut off valve at our BBQ area because it
will not isolate and we need to change it. I will identify the dig area with caution tape.
We have some tools for this job, but there again if you have a favorite tool you would
like to use, please bring it along IE: shovel , pick, large bar or anything else.
The dirt can be piled next to the hole for ease of filling in.
If you can support this cause, please send me an e-mail with how and when you can
assist.
